I was at Lowes a few weeks ago and they had some rubber grout floats on clearance for 2 bucks each. I took a flyer on two of em figuring I'd try them as push pads. I finally tried them with the jointer yesterday and they work well enough on their own that I don't think I need any sandpaper glued to the face. DAMHIK but the jointer won't notice if the rubber pad gets too close to the blades.
