HF Magnetic Sweeper

I need something to pick up the nails and other metal debris from tearing off my roof. The small magnetic broom isn't going to cut it.

Anyone have one of these?

How well do they work? Supposed to have a 50# pull. If the wheels are adjustable, it should do the do.

I don't have that one, but I've done quite a few roofing jobs. We had one similar to that, but it was bought at a local roofing supply dealer. I'd say if it has plenty of pull, it will do the job for you. It sure beats picking them all up by hand, and you can get quite a bunch of nails before you have to pull them off. That's definitely the way to go.

Have one that I bought for about $20.00 at a local big box type store, similar to that one. Don't think mine has 50 lb of pull, but works well for picking up tearoff nails, etc. That one should do very well.

I own one without a release, and I think that's a great feature. Mine works great. It's a little smaller than that and I got it for about 25 at Tractor Supply.
