    Irwin Parallel Clamps

These must be new. Does anyone have any experience with these? They look like a cross between the Bessey K body and Jet.

    24" is $29
    48" is $38

No experience with these new clamps but I have had some with the Jet clamps. After using the Jet's I'm sold on them and you can get them here, http://www.internationaltool.com/woo...et-clamps.html for less money than the Irwin deal at Rockler's.

Yeah, get the Jets. Top rated parallel clamp in a recent test in one of the WW mags. I have Besseys but will buy Jet when I need more. Thanks for the link to the Jets.

Another vote for the Jets w/o a doubt.
Funny thing with this link to International Tool. The price changes from what's posted when I click the image (not for the better either )

Amazon has the cabinet maker kit (2 24"ers and 2 40"ers) with blocks for $119. This is the best deal I've seen since Rockler sold the same kit for $89 a couple times over the past year.

Like others I agree the Jet clamp is the best. However, I scored tons of Bessey 2440 kits for a touch over $60. I really like them for that price! Word on the street says that the Irwins are really nice, though not as thought out as the Jet clamps.

Stormbringer, you're absolutely correct, they do have two prices for the Jet clamps on their website. Unfortunately, the higher price is the one that goes to the shopping cart. I have purchased all of my Jet clamps from them at the prices shown on the link I posted so I'm thinking that they just increased their prices on these. Probably because they've sold a ton of them because the lower prices were beating the pants off of everyone else's prices, including Amazon. The last batch I got from them came directly from Jet while all my other orders were shipped from their warehouse.
