Do you think they would ship it and what are the chances of it being damaged in shipping? :-)

I've got one of those sitting in the basement of my mother's house, I'll sell it for $50 + shipping to any takers.

Hey - I have one just like that. I bought my as my first power tool more than 30 years ago. I think it was $20 back then.

its funny some times to see what poeple post and what they are asking for it.

there was this one post, where a guy says he sold a bunch of tool for cheap to some one who drives such and such a truck, and he wants them back becuase his boss want the tools that were in his truck. when he sold them, he thought the boss had given them to him as a bonus when he had only been working there for a few weeks or months (cant remeber)! he didnt have the guys name or number. i should have posted that here, but didnt cross my mind at that time.

He says he doesn't need it any more... I hope he doesn't need $50 either, 'cause that ain't gonna happen.

I always laugh when people are so clueless about the value of things.

apparently just because they owned the item, it is now some kind of valuable antique.

hurry before you miss this deal???

I sort of seriously doubt that anyone in their right mind would pay $30.00
for that saw, even if they really needed one....I have even given away/ thrown away better tools than that one....haven't you?

Hmmmm, I guess the fellow heard that "experience adds value" and thought it also applied to tools. Why just the dirt alone is probably a valuable extra. One might also take into consideration that somewhere out there a B & D collector may exist who needs this particular model to complete their display.

It's amazing, how some minds work!
