SF Bay Area Tool Store - CB Tool

I frequently travel to San Jose, where I have seen this store. I went in for the first time today. They have a great selection of power tools from Jet, Delta, General, Powermatic, etc., etc.

They pretty much charge full retail prices, but the selection is outstanding. And they have dust collection parts, which can be hard to find. The counter guy told me they are soon adding a Rockler outlet, so their parts and supplies inventory should be considerably ehanced.

Oh - they are open 8-5, plus Saturday mornings, so plan your visit accordingly.

I'm just passing this along, with envy. I'm not aware of any place like this in SoCal.

You had to post this while I'm in San Jose for training. Of course, my training schedule doesn't allow me to go, and I'm flying back to the east coast on a redeye tonight, but why, why, did you need to mention it now?

I probably drove right by it a few months ago. I flew in late en route to LLNL and it was my first time there so I had the driving route planned in advance. Unfortunately there were two detours before I got more than a few miles away from the airport. By the time I got back on track, I'm sure I'd driven past most of San Jose's woodworking, power tool and bike shops. Not that I would have noticed at the time.

Not far from Global wood Source, which is probably the best place in the South Bay for lumber.
