    Used primarily on CNC routers in the stone cutting industry, such as those used to shape granite counter tops.

      You wouldn't think that they would be selling an industrial tool on Amazon. OTOH, I guess the granite countertop makers would use it but I still can't imagine them looking here for it.

            my guess would be that it is for knocking the sharp edge off. in the machining world that is called "breaking" the edge.
