    Moisture Meter

I am planning on buying a moisture meter and I found this one on Amazon. Does anyone have one of these or is there another one in the same price range that is better? Thanks

    Much better option IMHO . . . .

    mini-Ligno E/D

    Range : 6-45%
Resolution: 0.1% for values below 10% and 1% steps above 10%

    http://www.lignomat.com/handheld/mned.htm

This gives you digital read out versus the 2% scale of the Mini Ligno E. I am not sure how the E does rounding, but 2% is not an acceptable range IMHO, especially if you are near the margin of useable material. The E/D gives you accuracy to 10th.

Edit : If you have any interest in a pinless as well you can get a good deal when you buy and pinned and pinless at the same time. Ligno Scanners are awesome. I bought 7 Ligno-Scanner SDs for my field employees. Of course I had to keep one for myself! LOL!

I got one when they introduced it a few months ago and use it all the time. Lignomat is definately the way to go. I have had the opportunity to test a good number of them in the last few months side by side and the Lignos are very well calibrated.

Thanks Jeffrey, I did not see the E/D as my search was on Amazon and they didn't show it. I believe I would like the digital also.
