        That is a stunningly good deal! I am heading down that slope as well! I'll have a post shortly about the walnut and curly maple hand tool chest I made yesterday and how PISSED my wife is about that project! Seems I should have more important things to do!

        That is a great deal. Like yourself I dont know why it went so cheap. Who cares? Especially for a user plane.

          That is a gorgeous old plane Ken. I recently bought a Stanley 78 and a #4 on ebay for pretty cheap. The difference between those old planes and what's available now for regular guy prices is amazing.

          Now you have to soup that baby up and use it. We expect photos of the finished product.

            I emailed the seller asking if the cutters are notched or notchless. She replied that it has been shipped and she wouldn't know anyway. She said she is a woman and doesn't know anything about tools and stuff.
            Back off ladies, she said that I didn't!
