**** You! . . . . . . first. . I cant resist looking at websites that people on here recommend. . . and then I end up ordering stuff. . . and then I got to tell LOML that I ordered it.. . . . . . .So. . I told her it was all your fault!!!!!

anyway .. . that Odd Job is cool . . . ordered one of those. The folding division thingy that will automatically mark out equal divisions is cool too, order one of those. I stopped at the three cabinet makers planes. . . . but I do have it book marked.

You guys should have seen them in their heyday.

The actual store was in Manhattan and everyone that worked there was a woodworker. They let you play with everything, including their inported line of Inca stationary machines. I never saw a 12" table saw that felt like a Swiss watch and hardly made a sound while it was running.

The catalog they had then was over 200 glossy pages on heavy stock and the photography was done by one of the best still life shooters in NYC.

In fact, it was sold in book stores like Barnes & Noble, but was free at the store (with purcase).

Boy, do I miss that place. Use to go there just to BS with the salespeople. A far cry from the BORG.

Nice stuff but $75 for what looks like an identical copy of the HF dovetail jig seems a bit on the rich side.
