Any idea where to find something like a metal protractor?

I am looking for a semi-circular flat (~1/8" thick) metal object--essentially a 6" steel / metal protractor would be ideal. I am looking for something cheap < $10. Surely there is a part made for some other purpose out there that would fit, but I have no idea how to find it. Any ideas?

I should mention that the straight part of the protractor is optional, so if I found a metal semi-circular arc w/o a cross piece that'd be fine too.

If I can find it, I am going to use it as an awning window adjuster for small windows in my shed. I have 6 of these windows and the cheapest adjuster I've found is a straight-bar brass casement window adjuster that sells for $20 each.

Uhhh... a protractor is a tool, right? Admin: if there is a better forum, please move it there.

Good suggestion, Lee. Actually I just found that in the hardware store today, so I am going to try it out. Its not perfectly semi-circular so not sure how that will play out.

I also found some cheap stamped metal trowels that are D-shaped and thin enough to cut/trim.

But if anyone has other suggestions, I'd like to hear 'em!

      Thanks.
