    Found my next bandsaw

They sell it at Target of all places.

    http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...sin=B0001YIUWA

Any guess what my resawing capacity would be for say, a slab of ribeye? Dust/lipid collection abilities?

Seriously though, I thought it was weird to see something like this at Target. A restraunt supply place maybe... but is there really a consumer demand for such a beast? It looks like it is the size of a small woodworking bandsaw too... dang.

Now would that be exclusively for buffalo?

Actually a similar one has been sold locally at House Of Tools for a number of years. Typical customer cutting wild game?

        Slider?

Hmmmm. A sliding table on a bandsaw... that has possibilities.
        To do is to be.

HF has been selling meat-cutting band saws forever, as has Northern Tool.

Do you really want a tool that was built to taste flesh?

While I know I can/could find a bargin used, I still consider building a bandsaw (Gil-Bilt) for my shop. Part of the reason is it would otherwise be a major undertaking to get one (decent sized not a 12") down there.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
