    New Grizzly Stuff

Grizzly just posted a bunch of new stuff. New 17" BSs 19" BS with foot break, 12" cabinet saw extreme series with riving knife is marked down $200. They have an excellent after market sliding table for TS at $299. I saw it yesterday and it is awesome.

Where did you see it, Jeff? Were you up to Williamsport or did you see one making dust?
    Blessings,

At the Muncy Pa store. It was all set up on a TS. I played with it like a kid. Like I said if they had it in stock it would have come home with me. It even seemed better than the Excalibur sliding table.

        Jeff,

I was on their site yesterday, and noticed the new bandsaws. The 17" looks especially sweet - 16" resaw, like MM and Laguna. A little pricey though. I still haven't pulled the trigger on a new bandsaw - have to finish converting the garage to my new shop first.

You've had your G0514 for awhile now - what's the verdict? Are you a happy camper?
        To do is to be.

I am crazy happy with mine. Resawing the heck out of QSWO up to 12" using Iturra Woodslicer and just could not be happier. The only thing I don't like about the saw is the steel trunnions versus cast iron, however I had noticed no deflection of the table during resaw of 10" wide 6' long 5/4 QSWO. I figure thats about the max I'll ever be doing on the saw so it is not a problem, but it is something that is in the back of me head.
