Just curious, have you spun the blade yet? If so how does the saw perform? Good catch in any case. Can't beat free.
Gotta love a good bargain, now I need help!

I have spun the blade but haven't cut anything yet. I need to put a new table on it before I cut anything. Besides some rust on the vertical support post the saw seems like its is good shape. All the movements are smooth and the bearings are in good shape. I'm planning to do a semi- complete breakdown and cleaning. I did notice there is some wobble when the blade first starts spinning but I'm not sure if it's the saw or the original blade that was on it. I haven't tried any other blades yet and have read that with this design of RAS (single sided carriage?) that the wobble is unavoidable. Not sure if this is going to be an issue yet but the blade seems to be stable and doesn't show any wobble that I can see once it's at full speed. None the less I'm planning to use this saw as a dedicated dado cross cust saw. I'll post pics once the cleanup is complete.Comment

Ryan,
Here is a .jpg of page 11 in the RA-2500 RAS owners manual. I've been a little pressed for time but as soon as I can I will take some pictures of my RAS and scan the owners manual into a .PDF document and PM it to you. Take a look at the lower right photo, there are two holes in the hub that the blade mounts up against. The two-pronged "wrench" attaches there, you install the blade and arbor nut, then tighten with on wrench.RussellComment

I agree with Tropicaffair that it is the same as my Ryobi 2500. Great radial arm saw. I have a manual if Tropicaffair is unable to scan his. Just PM me.Comment
