What meant by Bosch Colt Kit?

I am thinking about getting one of these Colts and today when I got home I see this sale from Rockler for a Bosch Colt kit. Is it simply what the Colt is called or is there something extra in the kit? It sure doesn't say in the ad. They're going for $119.00 but that's Lowe's everyday price so unless the kit has more accessories or something it's not much of a deal. Well, free shipping I suppose. Anybody know?

Bosch sells several "kits." For that price it may just include an edge guide. A full "installers" kit sells for over $200 at Amazon, includes several bases and other extras.

If you click on the more info tab you will find that it states the following:

Includes motor, aluminum fixed base, straight-edge guide, 1/4" self- releasing collet, comfortable drop-forged wrench and carrying case.

      Same as the Lowes kit

I did read that but didn't catch the edge guide. Thanks for the eyes. Well then depending on the price of an edge guide and since I was going to pay the same price at Lowe's probably tomorrow then this deal may be OK then since it's free shipping. Cool. Thanks again for the help.

There are Bosch kits with different bases, ie adjustable angle base, etc. Sounds like the one you are looking at has edge guide and one of those silly cases.

I agree Jeffrey about the cases. I have an attic full of the stupid things. I would actually like to get the single speed but there's only about a $10.00 difference between the two at these prices.

That one I mentioned to you last week for $80.00-$90.00 at CPO Bosch came with the edge guide when I ordered mine...looks like you only get that with the VS model ($90.00)

If you haven't already bought one, looks like they have free shipping on orders over $99.00, so adding a pack of jig saw blades or something else might make sense.

Now there's the deal so far mschrank. Thanks. No haven't gotten one yet. Hoping it'll be a Father's Day gift.
