LOML bought these/this back for me from Japan - these will be very useful in my Shed.

I haven't even seen those before! What will you use those for? Cutting LONG stem roses for LOYL?

I do use scissors often in the shop. Lots of uses.
Looks like you could stab two people at once with those, Rod. She may be setting you up to trim some quilting blocks for her though?

I think she bought quilting tools for herself and wants you to think she bought them for you.

I'll defend Rod a little here, I don't think most quilters use sissors execpt for small ones to clip thread some times. They almost always use rotary cutters and the green cutting mats. Come to think of it, I remember seeing some of the green cutting mat in some of Rod's pics. Maybe she's trying to get him to switch to sissors and leave her cutting mats alone

Strongly resisting a very obvious joke here since this is a family forum : )

My wife is a quilter and let me tell you, if you think our tools can run into a lot of money they're cheap in comparison. I could buy two very nicely detailed Unisaws for what her primary sewing computer sells for. They now call them sewing computers so they can charge more!

                  Thanks, Don

I get the green mats when she's "worn them out" with her rotary cutters. Good as a backing for cutting anything with a knife!!
