Thanks Larry. Looked around their site and only found to 150 grit. Was hoping for at least 180 and maybe 220. May give theirs a try though.
Thanks again.

I guess I haven't paid attention to how high the grit goes, but I imagine the thought is that you're using the spindle more for shaping than final sanding. Personally, I'd be inclined to use 220 by hand for that last quick finish sand, to be sure I'm removing any remaining ripples from the spindle.
I got my last batch of sleeves and belts from Klingspor, so ditto Larry's recommendation there.
Harbor Frieght sells them I believe 80 grit - 150 grit - 220 grit (?) sets for their Model OSS. You will also get a 3" sleeve that will not work with the Ridgid. I bought a couple of sets and believe I paid $5.95 a set. Also have the HF OSS and really like it paid $79.95 on sale.
Just happened across a place with the sleeves and belts. They have the belts on "buy one box (12) get one free" and you can mix and match the grits. Will report back after trying these. http://commerce.riverweb.com:8002/shop.html
