    gloat...new tools on the way...

My lovely and awesome wife has approved some new tools for me. So I went a bit jet crazy.... On the way are...

    Jet DC1100CK - 1 1/2 hp cannister DC

    Jet 8CS jointer - 8" jointer

    Jet sharpener - tormek knock-off

    Jet 1000 cfm air cleaner

She is awesome, no doubt about it, though she's started to sell my pens to her friends, and I think she wants a cleaner shop, so some of it may be self motivated.

Congrats Keith, sounds like we both have wonderful ladies!
Now you have to paint the shop walls and floors white to match all that Jet equipment.

Congratulations on approval of the acquisitions, Keith. My lovely is from around the Altoona-Johnstown area and she just did some approving of her own.

Of course.. she knew that once I said I was going to do it, I would anyway cause I make the final decisons. But she did manuever herself into position to negotiate for approval of new vinyl covering for the kitchen to compliment her new kitchen table and chairs.. new cafe curtains.. a new bed-room suite.. a new coffee table.. a new crochet shelf to store her ten millions scans of yarn.. and the list goes on and on and on.....

I am highly suspect that those hot Pennsylvania babes know how to get what they want and make it look like your making all the final decisions. Highly suspect indeed...... ha.. ha... ha..ha..ha..

        Regards...

Yeah, with red and black racing stripes going around the room about halfway up the walls!

Congrats, Keith, but it's high time that someone pointed out that YOU ...

Well, you know the rest, I'm sure.

Thanks all, my wife was happy that I didn't guy all Powermatic, as with the TS, and my dewalt stuff, it certainly looks like a Steeler shop at the moment.

                What Larry didn't quite say!

Geez, I'm not sure which is gloatier, the tools or the underlying assumption that you have shop space for them! Then there's that whole spousal approval thing.....

                Regards,
                Tom

Tom, don't be too jealous of my shop, I really don't have that much space. I am definately creative with my use of it. It's essentially a 1 car garage space, that I've managed to configure to hold a sick amount of wood working equipment.
