I have had very good service from Kreg, also. I have a couple of their bits. I got the second bit when the first started to act dull. I sent the first bit to Kreg and had it back in less than a week. The cost for sharpening is something like $4 and includes the return postage. For me, that's a good deal.

Just a thought..... It seemed to me that Kreg also makes left hand bits for some of their bigger air powered machines. They might have accidentally dropped a lefty in your kit. I believe they guarantee their bits.

I know when I've been at "The Woodworking Shows" they always say bring in your dull Kreg bit and they will give you a sharpened one in exchange for free. (It must be a Kreg bit - they don't exchange for other brands.). If nothing else, give them a call.
