It looks a little beat up but he's only asking $75 (might even be able to talk him down some). I just need something small for edge jointing. Opinions?

Looks similar to the HF jointers...what brand is it? If it's in salvageable working condition, I'd guess it'd be worth $75......$50 seems more reasonable, but where else can you get a jointer that size for that price?Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

Tell him you'll talk turkey for $50. Heck, if you can get the fence to give you true 90* and you can face a board as it stands so it's well worth the price.Blessings,
