    more Framing Nailer questions ....

I see all the talk about clipped head vs. full round. I have a Paslode F350S that shows on the magazine that it will accept both styles. The clipped head are of course clipped, but the full round that it accepts uses the nails where the head is sorta offset to one side.

My question being, is this offset nail the norm for the dedicated full round style nailers out there? If not, are these type of nails still acceptable for codes requiring full round use?

The offset head, I believe, is a Paslode's patent, and they are accepted as full-round by the codes.

Most full-round head nailers shoot centered-head nails, at the expense of reduced number of nails per clip. My Bostitch uses 21deg plastic collated regular full-rounds.
