How is this for a Gloat
A good friend of mine who is also a general contractor said that he had some tools and stuff for me. He used to play around with woodworking, but he gave it up and is almost 65-70 now. Anyway he had all his tools in storage so I met him yesterday to take a look.
He said I could have whatever I want. Alot of the tools were older and had some surface rust, but I think I can deal with that.
The haul included
6" heavy craftsman jointer
old craftsman lathe cast iron
jet 3/4hp 6" belt sander with 9" disk sander
additional sanding belts
bench top drill press probably weighs 150lbs
new sets of lathe tools
various measurement tools (calipers, etc.)
pipe clamps pony
jorgansen 36" f clamps
4 equal pressure clamps
approx 60 bf of black walnut and cherry lumber 4/4 (some walnut 16" wide with no sapwood)
plans and all stuff to make numerous clocks(faces, mechanisms, templates, etc)
all tools were on bases
I realize that you guys will need picturese for proof
but I do not have time right now because I have new tools
