No experience, but yes on opinions.
You can get kits and build your own, or in some area's like mine, multiple chains have closed down. A used panel saw here, is normally $500.
How much are you really going to use it?
Not much, look into sawboards
Active woodworker, I would look into a Eurekazone (I am bias'd). This was what I went with instead of the panel saw, and it's been a lot more usefull.
If your running a cabinet shop then it might be a decent value. She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice. -
We have one very similar to that at work, very handy if you work with a lot of sheet goods. If you only need to rip/cut panel goods every once in a while -- I agree a sawboard is probably a more reasonable option.
We stack sheet goods just to the left of the panel saw, just a matter of pulling a sheet out from the rack, 'tilt' it over and cut. The narrow footprint of that setup (and mobility) makes it pretty nice.Comment

I've used their comercial line of that saw quite a bit. it's a very good unit. it had plenty of power and cut straight. use a saw blade with a hi-atb grind and you'll get great cuts in plywood. we used the forrest hi-at blade.
