    Aligning miter saw blade

Finally got my Hitachi 12" blade from Amazon. I'm replacing the stock blade on my DW708 for the first time. Any tips on how to check for perfect squareness, angled cuts, etc. If you have the same saw, how to adjust for it, if it's not dead on? thanks

I hate to sound obvious but all that information should be in your Owners Manual. Each miter saw is a little different when it comes to adjustments.

Dave is correct - it's all in the manual. I have an Incra square and tested the small plastic one that came with the saw and it was spot on. This was helpful for fence to blade squareness, but, I used my Wixey digital angle gauge for setting up the bevel.

I got it used. No manual. Besides I'm lazy and was hoping for a quick answer . I read somewhere they have jigs for that and was wondering if anyone has used one.
