    Dado Stack - SD508 or SD208

The SD508 (after the discount) is $54 more than the SD208 at Amazon. Is it worth the extra $$? I have an older Ridgid saw so I don't have (or don't think I have) the problem with 8" dados.

I got SD206, and I find it hard to find room for improvement in the dadoes it makes.

The SD508 is has 24-tooth cutters and 4-tooth chippers which is twice the teeth the SD208 has, so it should leave a smoother cut.

Last spring I swapped my SD208 for a DeWalt DW7670 and have been very happy with it....it has twice as many teeth as the 208 makes a cleaner cut than because of that. But if you can get an SD508 for < $130, I'd do it and never look back. If not, I'd consider the 7670 over the 208.
