    The Missing SCMS Link

I came across this on ebay and found it interesting. Nowhere near interesting enough to bid on, but interesting nonetheless.

It's listed as a Radial Arm Miter Saw.

That's pretty interesting. I never saw that before. Craftsman may not always have the best stuff these days, but they sure seem to be able to figure out interesting features ahead of others.

I can't see it real clearly, but looks like the model number starts with "315", which means it was made by Ryobi

Yeah, I should have added an "and Ryobi" to that. They supply an awful lot of bang for the buck.

          It's model number 315.23743

Does sears tell the manufacturer what they want, or the other way around?

I thought it was interesting. I watch craigslist alot and I've been watching eBay for a 10" RAS guard to fit my Super 900. When I see descriptions like this, it usually means the seller has no idea what they selling. So I was surprised to see it actually was a Radial Arm Miter Saw.

Your not too far off. I sent them an email asking for the model number, they said they looked all over the thing and couldn't find one.

Sent them another email telling them were to look, since I could see it in one of the pictures. Then they were able to find it.
