    Hadn't seen that one, Jeffrey. I like the idea of the flat side of the wet wheel. Their other wet grinder is oriented like a regular grinder, which would give you a bit of a hollow grind, I think.

      Thanks for posting that! I've been looking around and trying to decide what to get. That looks like a great option.

      I was considering just going a 1" sanding belt and stones. This looks like it would be a great low cost alternative to a Tormek type solution.

      Nice that they have the manual posted for a closer look too. I like the loo of the wet wheel tool rest, nice and wide for stable support for sharpening even large blades.

        I looked at those under differernt brand names. Biggest problem I was told about was keeping the wet wheel true and in balance.

          I was at HF today and didn't see one there. It does look interesting, though.

          I did find the 6ft digging bar that I went there to get. At $13.99 it's half the price of the equivalent at the HD/Lowe's. That's the sort of thing I like to get from HF most often. Hard to find fault with a 6ft chunk of steel.
