    Grizzly G1022 Table saw

    http://www.epinions.com/Grizzly_Hard...Duty_Table_Saw

What do you guys think of this saw? No pic but here's so info on it. He's asking $300 (trying to talk him down) and says it's in really good condition. He's almost an hour from me so I thought I'd ask if it was even worth the drive to take a look at it.

The 1022"SM" had a junk fence but that one looks like the SF Classic which is a Biese clone....nice fence!

IIRC the motor draws somewhere near 24 amps and may not work well on a standard 110v circuit....might need to 220v or a 30 amp 110v circuit.

$300 doesn't seem too bad if you can swing the electrical requirements, but it never hurts to offer $250.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

      .
I saw that it seems to work better with 220. I have 30 amp dedicated breaker in garage but it's still 110V. I guess that's another check mark in the negative slot for me.

30 amp 110v will work! It's the 20 amp circuits that it's too much for.

Another knock that I think I remember is that there's no lock on the handwheels...not a deal breaker if true, but certainly not a strong point.
