    Delta 50-760 versus HF DC

Now that the Delta is a non-stacked item with the possibilty of a much lower price at Lowes has prompted me to ask this question.
Which one is better as far as (1)design (2)using a separator to protect the impellor from large chips and metal (3)using a neutral vane on the HFDC to keep heavier dust from the canister filter, whereas this probably, cannot be done on the Delta.
If I can get the Delta, would it worth getting it and selling the HFDC(still unused).
Am I comparing apples and oranges here?

I would say yes. I personally have the HF and am very pleased with it but if I could get the Delta for a really good price I'd buy it simply due to the rating it received in the 2007 Tool Guide. The main reason I have a DC is to collect the really fine dust and according to this article the Delta is quite a bit better in that regards then the others rated. Now they didn't rate the HF but I would suppose ( IMO ) that it's not any better then the others rated so therefore would probably perform similarly. The Delta also already has a 1 micron filter bag.

For what it's worth I am very happy with the 50-760. I bought it because of the 1 micorn bags.
