12" Miter saw blade - recommendation

Any recommendations on a 12" miter saw blade?

A Forrest or top Freud are always a safe high quality choice, but are sometimes a bit expensive. Amazon has the DeWalt DW7649 80T series 60 on sale for $60 shipped. I tried the 10" version last summer (DW7647) and was quite impressed with it, as I have been all the series 40 and series 60 DW blades.

    Edit:
It's now $48 shipped with the 20% promotion code applied

A "yeh" vote for the Ridge Carbide here! ...I forget that Holbren even has a 12" RC available...good call.

          Hitachi

Today I installed a 12" ( 90 tooth) Hitachi blade in a Hitachi CMS. I have been using the blade that came with the saw and was having problems with splintered edges on very thin trim boards. The few cuts that I made today were VERY smooth without any splintering. However, I did use a sacrificial 'backboard' with the new blade. Cost was $47.
