Assembled the DC this morning, took about an hour. All the hardware was provided was the right size in the right amount. (had 4 washers leftover and two allen wrenches that were never used) Perhaps they changed the design on the casters as they did not catch on the base and swivled nicely as I moved the unit. Put the whole thing together in about 1.5 hours with no assistance. Went pretty nicely. Now if the DC sucks as much as the directions, I'm good to go. Based on some of the comments about assembly here on this forum, the first thing I did was seperate all the hardware into same size piles and matched up bolts, washers and nuts. Then counted hardware and size of holes. This helped alot.

Sounds like you did alright then. Good for you. I purchased mine a couple of years ago and still remember how God awful those instructions were. I tense up ever since anytime I get anything that requires instructions still to this day. God they were bad. I heard the instructions on the HF BS is pretty bad too. Anyway, congrats and yes the thing does suck some air. I really like mine. It's all I need. Course I run it around tool to tool and use about 6' black hose so I am not having a problem with suction at all.May you die and go to heaven before the Devil knows you're dead. My Best, Mac -
I am glad you like your new DC. I have one and am very pleased. The directions on the DC assembly are light years ahead of the BS paperwork which must have been completed by a monkey with a crayon.spellling champion Lexington region 1982Comment
