Ok...everyone has reviewd tools, but paint?... So here is goes. I was ready to start some of the trim painting on the addition and it was like 8:30 PM on a sunday. I go out to the garage to grab what I thought was a new can of latex enamel, but what turned out to be a 1/2 full can of who knows how old stuff that the bucket was begining to rust on. So, down to wallmart just to see if I can get lucky on some paint so the rest of the evening isn't shot and I spy a tub of high gloss latex emnamel by Kilz. I figured what the heck...I have used thier primer for years with great sucess, why not try the paint. Good stuff fellas. It comes in this plastic tub with a screw top lid and built in pour spout (kind of like laundry detergent) so what gets caught on the lip goes back into the tub. When you paint with it you can almost watch the brush marks just disapear and with about 3 light coats gets like glass. I was reading on the tub and this is the 1st time I've seen this on paint, but they warenty it from defects of normal wear and scrubbing for....life. There are some exclusions but most paint has a 15 or 20 or whatever "lifetime" this stuff is suposidly forever. We shall see, but it seems to paint like a dream and the tub it comes in is handy as heck. I felt kind of strange purchacing paint for the house from someplace other than HD or lowes...but I seem to have stumbled upon something pretty spiffy. I have even bought "good" latex paint and added the self leveling compounds like "flowtrall" to them, and this seems to work better.

Thanks for the tip, Stinky! Now to see if some place besides Walmart sells it . . .

Have to give it a try. How was the comparative price?

        Price

I want to say it was around 20.00 so it was comparable to glidden, bear or american traditions in price, but the coverage seemed better and it just glided on and layed so smoothe to me. The wife also thinks it paints better, so is not just me.
