JT-360 Jointer & Herc-U-Lift?

I just got this Jointer, paid just under $300, and want to mount it on a Herc-U-Lift. Has anyone done this? Can it be done?

I'm going over to Lowe's in the morning to measure the display an see if I can make it work.

Any help would be great.

congraduations on your jointer!

yes, it should work. just measure the base and then look for that same measurement in a chart that is given at the end of the english section of the her-cu-lift manual. this table will give you all the dimensions and adjustments that are required for a given leg spacing.

IIRC the hercu-lift manual has instructions specifically for each of the ridgid line of stationary tools including the jointer.

that is what i thought when i bought my ridgid jointer. the only picture missing on the box is the jointer's and the manual doesnt tell you the jointer's setup either becuase the base dimensions are out of the mobile base's range.

Herculift does not work on jointers very well, rear weight balance I guess . Go to the ridgid forum as search. I have a jp610 and that will not fit. If your stand has legs, maybe but check w. Ridgid first.

I did get it to work. The delta stand it's on is 22" x 25" , so the base was wide enough and just long enough to get it to work. It did take a bit of trial and error, but it does the job.
