    I'll assume it's used.
    Do you know how old?
By collasable stand I'm guessing you mean the one on wheels (Herculift type)?
    Any accessories?
    Orignal balde?
    Have you ran it?
    What's it go for new?

This will help but based on everything being positve I would sasy this is a good deal.

That's a pretty fair price for that saw if it hasn't been beaten up too badly. The TS2400LS doesn't come with the Herc-U-Lift mobile base but instead is furnished with what Ridgid calls a Work-N-Haul It cart. This stand folds up for storage and transporting aong the lines of the Ridgid MSUV.

This TS is very capable of producing great results but was primarily designed for jobsite use not fine woodworking. With that in mind and the rip capacity to the right of the blade at only 25" this TS could be a great deal or a very frustrating purchase.

Mark, the others have already raised some good points. The 2400 is a well respected portable jobsite saw. Portability is it's strongsuit. I also understand that it's fairly rugged for a portable. It'll have a fairly loud universal motor too. If portability is what you're after, this sounds like a good deal if it's in good shape. If you're looking for a stationary saw for furniture building in a homeshop, IMO you'd be better off finding a full size saw like it's bigger sibling (TS3650), or any of they brand name full size saws.

Thanks for all of the input, I did not buy the saw. I think I will stick with my vintage Rockwell Delta for a while longer.
