    Radial Arm Saw Blades

I have an old Ryobi 8 1/4 inch radial arm saw that I had just about given up using for precision cuts. The 40 tooth Sears carbide blade would sometimes pull the saw too fast into the work messing up the quality of the cut and sometimes even stopping the saw. Frustrating. I tried going slow and that ususally helps but.... I finally noticed negative angle blades were advertised as not doing the "self feed". I doubted the difference but the old blade was getting tired so I decided to give it a try.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE! If you have a radial arm saw, you should have a negative hook blade. Mine is a 48 tooth Freud. No more fighting the saw so now I can make a precision cut. Should have done this a long time ago.
