    Bosch 4000-09

I just got a Bosch 4000-09 worksite saw (including the roll around stand)delivered to me by mistake....I ordered something else. Because of the deal and the price I'm probably going to be stuck with it .... It is New in the box. Anybody got a feel for how well this item might sell? It is heavier than I'd want to pay shipping for (Amazon charges a hundred bucks to ship it).

Have one. Regarded as a top tier benchtop. Magazine reviews have always rated it very very highly...I can remember one saying it's better than a lot of contractors saws out there. All those Amazon reviews can't be wrong and I agree. Soft start, very powerful, stand is the best there is. Check ebay to see what they're going for. If you insist on selling it, sell it as "local pick up only" so you don't have to worry about shipping. Don't forget about Craigs List.

BTW, what were they supposed to send you? Did they charge you for the Bosch or your other saw? Did you come out ahead?

    Good luck,
    Greg

      Issm,

That's a nice saw. The Ridgid TS2400 and the Bosch 4000-09 receive high marks in publication, and user reviews. I've used both (own the Ridgid) and they are great.

If the item you actually purchased is less (let us know for giggles) I think you will be very happy with it.

Who did you order it from? If it was their mistake, they should/might pay for a pickup and deliever the correct item, especially if you got a great deal on this. (ie they can't afford to sell this to you for $25).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

You will sell it pretty quick, I would think. Make note to advertise the fact that this model has a riving knife.
Trust me on this. Many guys are looking for saws with this feature.
