Does anyone know if this is a sears version of the Delta 22-580? I can't find any reviews of it but its specs look like the Delta's and its about $50 more.

It doesn't look anything like the Delta, and specs don't generally tell us much. I'm fairly open minded and am a fan of a few of some of the newer Craftsman machinery like those made by Orion, but there's nearly zero chance that I'd ever spend $500 on a portable planer from Sears. It might be fine but it's an expensive unknown in a niche where there is lots of proven competition for less money.Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.
