Not an insider, but I believe they closed them out, last year at this time. I remember people posting about the tabletop jointer being a bargin.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

My local lowes still has the small table saw, a bunch of 10" CMS's (they were blowing them out for $59 last weekend...HD was blowing out Ryobi 10" CMS's last weekend for $59 as well), they also have the Tradesman 10" sliding CMS's too.

Are you sure those are not TaskForce and not Tradesman brand?

Lowes carried Tradesman tools a little while back. It seems that they are being relaced with TaskForce. I believe Sears still carries Tradesman.

Lowes has a habit of bringing in tool lines and then dropping them. Lowes used to sell GMC tools as their budget line, then they were replaced with Tradesman, now it is TaskForce.
It makes me wonder about how much research went into their product lines
            that they now sell.
I did buy the Tradesman tabletop jointer and scrollsaw. Both seem to be ok.
