    Reconditioned Ryobi ZRRE180PL Router

    I just bought a factory reconditioned Ryobi ZRRE180PL Router.

    Took it our of the box and plugged it in, turned it on. I can see sparks inside the motor housing. Is this normal?

      small sparks are normal. they will lessen after you've used the tool for a little while.

          Yes, all universal motors have brushes and the sparks you see are indeed normal.
