Ray, I say with all sincerity...if you sucked any more the Atlantic would be a dry hole!

Do you have to go where and when they want or when you want?
      Pretty sweet deal though...

Ray, exactly what kind of costume did you wear to get Triton to put all those nice treats in your Halloween bag?

Now I know why you're looking for a new camera: You definitely need a bigger viewfinder!

Congrats on getting this gig! Your writeup was the perfect resume.

They mostly do trade shows, which are fixed dates and venues, plus large retailers from time to time. As they're trying to get their profile up after a bit of absence from the front line, I'd guess that there will be quite a few of the latter next year.

There are only a few demonstrators, so if one isn't available, another one will be offered the job. Note the word "offered" - this is not a contract, or a "must do" scenario. If you're available and you want to do it, then you do it.

Once you're known well enough to get to the top of the telephone list, so that you're offered jobs from the top of the pile, you'd have more choice, but the probability of more work too.

I'll be happy doing the occasional gig (ooh, hark at me, gig already - I'm turning into a showbusiness person!), although I can't see it being anything but fun, can you?

Thanks for all the comments, guys - I'll let you know how it goes.

          Ray.

Well that is just too cool.

Lot's of great toys to play with, for free, and the best part is, they sought you out.

It's one thing to get a little doo-dad for free or a really great price and then play with it to see if it was worth it (sometimes free is not really a great deal), but it's another to get a pile of great gear from a company who's products you admire and who's quality seems close to certain.

Great score Ray, you Da Man !!

                Update

Two brand new routers arrived today, so I can leave mine in their cupboard! I've become familiar enough with all the other gear now to be confident demonstrating it.

While I'd got it set up, I took some pics and whizzed together a Triton web page. The router reviews are right down the bottom, as they may have been seen before. Click here if you would like an overview of the system, but be warned - it is picture intensive!

                Ray.

WOW that's quite the system Ray.
Never seen the saw or the Workcenter before. All the other items are available here. I do like the router table. It's at Busy Bee here.
