19.2 cordless Sears 7 1/4 inch circular saw

Just saw one yesterday by accident. Haven't been shopping for tools in a while and was in the store yesterday and happened to check the cordless
dept and noticed a full sized circular 19.2 on display.

They are asking $100. Won't buy until it goes Way down from that.
I already have two corded circulars that I've modded with bolts in place of
rivets in the hinges to eliminate wobble when cutting thin plywood. One has a
dedicated HDPE? plate on it to run on my cutting guides.

The good news- a bolt holds the main up and down hinge-one of the problem
areas has been addressed by the manufacturer. Only the angle hinge(s) has
the rivet(s). I raised the saw all the way up to the end of the guide and no
wobbles which tells me it will cut straight through plywood at least until the
rivets start to wear.

I have a 19.2 5 incher trim saw that works well but don't/won't use for much
difficult plywood cutting. I think the full sized saw would work great for
2x4s but question its use as the only circular on a job site.
Think I'll wait until it goes down to the same cost as the 5 1/2 cordless
trim saw and then maybe get one. Cool idea. First time I've seen one
in the stores.

Anyone have one already???

7.25 incher 19.2 sears circ saw

I was at the sears in NJ today and just by the way I was looking to see if the craftsman club had a sale aon 19.2 volt batts and saw this new saw. Of course it's not on the sears web site and only one on the shelf. No discount on the saw but I gotta tell you that I am quite pleased with their 19.2 volt line of tools and maybe this saw will be able to cut 2X4's but how many can 1 battery handle?? I had a skill 18 volt 7.25 inch circ saw about three years ago as a gift and with a thin kerf new carbide blade it barely cut two sheets of plywood. I think the batts were real low amperage. They were after a funky new ninga looking tools but performance zip. If by chance someone has tried the sears 19.2 7.25 circ saw and had good success please post it here.
BIG BTY -- the sales rep now tells me that all power tools and lawn equipment is returnable with a RESTOCKING FEE OF 10-30% !!!! Outrageous I will stop buying there and leave the money at lowes where all returns are NO QUESTIONS ASKED. (I guess Kmart need moer money too bad they may drive sears outa buisss)
