    Bang for Buck HVLP setup?

    Ok all, let's hit this one again.

    I'm considering the HVLP world again. I want to know what people are liking in HVLP's. I'd love to find out that there is a super cheap one from HF that is just as good as other ones.

    I'm looking at a dual use tool that I can use for wood working, but also for some specialty painting of things on the job for little spots that I need to apply a very fine mist.

    I welcome all information!

    HF does have a turbine HVLP kit that does great but is geared towards larger jobs. If you have a large compressor at you disposal (@ 12 cfm or better at 90 psi) a conversion type touchup gun could be the ticket HF does have a few models but I don't have experience with them for even smaller jobs I use a Air Brush and HVLP isn't a factor in that arena.
    Opinions are like gas;
    I don't mind hearing it, but keep it to yourself if it stinks.

      I have HF gun (43430) and I'm very satisfied with it. Some guy on woodnet ran tests on it and it only draws around 3.5 SCFM. I run mine on a Porter Cable pancake compressor with a 10 Gallon aux tank like the woodnet guy did. It cycles about 50%; and I do have to occasionally pause spraying.

        Check out Gleem Paint Co

        Check out the below link. The company answered a bunch of questions for me and were very helpful in my decision making. I bought this gun and am well pleased with the results.
