    Old Iron Guys

Ok guys, need your help here. The wife has been picking on me about my planes (I blame Pappy BTW). She kind of thinks I am somewhat obsessed with them (so what’s wrong with the idea of a display cabinet in the living room. I mean after all you can take the plane out to the shop as needed). I am trying to tell her that I am very much a junior at this plane business and she should see some of your guys collections.

So do me a favor and post some pics of your planes so I can show her and prove I am not obsessed at all!

Thats funny, my wife actually suggested such an idea to me. However on further refinement of details she only wanted to display "select" hand tools of mine. So close to having my tools in a nice AC cabinet .

Just because I am not paranoid does not mean they are not out to get me!

Here ya go Ken. Be sure to let her know that the distance between the beams in the pics is 10 feet

Besides, I don't have a wide angle lens to get them all in one picture.

Thanks Jim! That is just what I needed. I showed the wife and she said “Yep, he is sicker than you!” so that gives me a break for awhile.

                Within the last few days I have bought a #4, #3 Type 5 and a #120 Type 2.

I swear I can stop at any time and yes I will use them all!

                PS Pappy,

                  Jim,

I don't suppose you have a small shoulder plane hanging about looking for a new home, for a reasonable, um, "relocation" fee?

                  GREAT Collection!!!
