Question for Grizzly TS owners with ShopFox fence

I'm setting up a new Grizzly wide table saw and there's one part I'm stuck
on. The Shop Fox classic fence has 3 UHMW "stickers" on the fence
underside that should ride on the rear rail so the fence faces don't get caught
up in the miter slots or where the cast iron transitions to the extended table.
Well, my fence does rub at the rear when it slides over miter slots and such.

I can't raise the rear rail because then boards I'm running or stock that
extends past the rear rail will hit the rail. I was thinking of adding more
UHMW tape so the fence rear rides on the rear rail and not the table surface.
I removed the high density plastic fence cheeks but there's no room for
adjustments.


Does that sound like a plan or am I missing something?

Made me go check. My fence doesn't rub but that's because I got the back rail just a hair high. I think the best answer is to make a couple of passes on the jointer with the fence faces. The fence itself has plenty of clearence. Pat
