    Grizzly Hybrid Table Saw?

What is your opinion in general of Grizzly table saws? And specifically, does anyone have their new hybrid table saw? The model is G0478. Thanks!

I haven't had the pleasure of using one or seeing one in person yet, though I have heard a few positive comments. The price isn't bad either, but the recent sale prices on the Craftsman 22124 make it a tough value to beat (~ $700). Hybrids as a whole have some advantages over a traditional contractor saw.

Grizzly's website has several good pics of the G0478, and it appears to be well made with some nice features. The fence is the same as their contractor saws, which is a good copy of the Biesemeyer Homeshop fence. It has a cast blade shroud for improved DC, and added mass and rigidity. The enclosed base should help DC alot also, and gives it a smaller footprint than a traditional contractor saw. The specs indicate that it may need a 30 amp circuit for 110v, or you can wire it for 220v.
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

When Thom and I were at the Griz Store in Pa in June I had the chance to check it out real close. Beautiful saw. I stuck my head inside the cabinet to look at the trunions etc. I came real close to buying it. The only thing that kept me from doing it was the fact I had my heart set on the 1023SLX.
True is the Hybrid would probably have done me just as well for alot less money but....
      Go for it. Pat
