    Jointer knife adjustment retrofit?

I have an old Delta 6" jointer, and I am wondering if anyone makes a kit that spring-loads the knives in the cutter head slots the way the Delta portable planer does. As y'all already know, with this feature a simple gauge is held against the cutter head and holds the knives to a set height while the retaining bolts are tightened, making resetting the knives a snap.

My Delta Industrial 6" jointer has jack screws beneath the knives that make it even easier. I set a dial indicator on the knife, dial it up to perfect and tighten it down. I had one with the springs and like this sytem much better.
