Missed YET AGAIN

Craigslist has been VERY active in my area recently. As I work a wierd schedule, I always seem to be at best, second.

Talked to a guy on a floor drill press ($65, old Rockwell), it was at his work. SO I thought we made a deal for Tuesday (my next day off and two days later). Called on the way and he sold it Monday (1 1/2 hour drive away for me)
That Tuesday, another one (different make, think Walker Turner from pictures) for $25. Sold within two minutes of posting, and the guy couldn't figure out how to remove it, as he had deleted that email.
Yesterday, the one that I REALLY wanted; an 18" bandsaw, with a 1HP motor, get this...... for $25

I think there must be people who just obsesively hit refresh on that site, it's the only thing I can figure.....

I feel your pain. Recently lost out on a 3 person hot tub for $250 in good condition, about 60 pieces of concrete edging that included a bunch of hard to find large tree ring pieces for $25, and a FREE 35" x 1 1/2" x 10' Maple baker's table. That last one was a real bummer. 5' workbench top for me and someone else!

I know exactly what you mean! I am beginning to feel the same way about the deal on the $14.70 herculift at HD. I've been to 2 HDs in my area to no avail. Story of my life, a day late & a dollar short!

Couldn't read the label from the picture (guy had picture of the wheels, which had been upgraded). Wouldn't tell me in the reply, just "sold, Sorry".
