I need a 5 to 10 gallon translucent bucket with top

I need a 5 to 10 gallon translucent or clear bucket with a top to mount my mini cyclone to. I hate to admit it, but I don't even have an old 5-gallon paint can. So I'm probably going to have to purchase something. I would prefer something that is translucent or clear so I know when it needs emptying. And an air-tite seal is important. Five gallons would be fine, I guess, but something just a little larger would be even better.

I was at Home Depot today and they had stacks of 5-gallon buckets at the end of each isle (orange Home Depot ones), but none of them had lids (and I didn't ask if they sold lids). The buckets were somewhat translucent.

The empty five-gallon dishsoap container in this photo would be idea, but it would take a long time to go through that much soap.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't see the photo .... but .... in an effort to solve your problem, I'll gladly send my kids down there for a week, you may need another bucket of dishsoap tho'

OTOH .... check with a local restaurant, they probably throw them away.
If it ain't broke.. don't fix it!!!... but you can always 'hop it up'

The borg does sell lids, However having access to five gallon pickle buckets, that are and do vary in translucence, I would consider cutting out and placing a bit of clear plastic as a window in the lid. Seal it with foam weather strip, and put another piece on top (in case one fails).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I have two empty 5 gallon buckets right now. If you live near me you can have both. They may need a little cleaning (I used one to mix grout for a tiling job) but the price is right.

At the WalMart pet department they sell containers with lids that are clear for storing dog food. They have lids and an 0-ring seal.
