The new forum sometimes makes me miss important stuff like this.
    Glad I caught it.
    You are very welcome.

Lee, assuming a Grizzly 2HP DC, the standard 2.5" connector in back of BT3 saw and also a 3rd flange/hood beneath the saw (4"?)... should I get the SG 4" or 2.5" model?
        Never met a bargain I didn't like.

Ryan, I am trying to finish up the Ridgid prototype today. Should be very soon.
The 4" port seems to get more of the dust with my collector. It still will have problems when ripping an edge and right at the end of a cut. I imagine all guards and blade covers have this same issue though.
It may leave a few chips, but seems to catch all the fines. Thats with either sized port. Acording to Bill Penze, the 4" port is the logical choice. If I had only a shop vac as a collector, then the 2.5 would work fine.

Lee, got my SG and enjoy using it. Well designed & well made, well worth the money.
