A BS quick crank by Woodpeckers?

I just saw this on Craiglist but can't find anything about Woodpeckers having a "quick crank" for bandsaws. I assume it's for tensioning the blade.

Did Woodpeckers used to make BS tensioners or do you think the poster is mistaken about the brand?

I have a Harbor Freight 14" bandsaw for sale. I have upgraded it with a WoodPecker quick crank.

I'm absolutely sure that "he" meant Rockler.

Woodcraft sells the Carter Quick Release Blade Tension Toggle, maybe thats what he's refering to. If so, at Woodcrafts price, it's a $150 upgrade.

Hey guys, the HF saw mentioned is actually mine. The quick crank was sold from Rockler, but it darn sure wasn't $150.... or I wouldn't have ever bought it. It was $30 or so, IIRC.

Long link here. Rockler's for 35$, won't work on my Craftsman Euro saw, but probably will for most C style saws. Not a quick release though, just a quick crank. Still, nicer than my setup.

            Thanks for the clarification, Coach.
