I plan to use my brand new MOF001 dedicated only for 1/4" shank bits, in a router table. On reflection, and based on the past use of "old faithful", my Ryobi R150 (now to be used for the odd hand held job. so to speak); New requirements are:
- Single table opening 1-5/8" dia. Covers all my roundover bits. This means no need for "inserts".
- Because of the "above table" bit change, the router "never" needs to be removed!
- My original (small) router table has proved to be all I need - the only problem was having to take the router out for bit changes. 6mm MDF glued to a 18mm base (see pic).
- 9mm MDF top (drilled to attach the router); glued to an 18mm base with a hole to fit the router - like my original.
